Poinciana High School has a student population of 1,799 and a student teacher ratio of around 27 to 1. The school offers computer labs for math, science, social studies, and language arts, plus a media center with over 14,000 volumes and 54 computers, graphic arts, three business labs, and a 9th grade center lab Teleconferencing is available with universities and Florida Hospital. The school scored highest in Osceola County for three years in the Florida Writes test, and 1996-97 graduates were awarded the most scholarships (ISO valued at $1.6 million) in the county.
